"This has to be one of the worst hostels ever. Don't stay here! The staff are outrageously rude, incompetent and unhelpful, they didn't honour our reservation, and put us in a far-flung suburb instead. There was nothing but confusion and misunderstandings from start to finish, culmnating in them attempting to withhold our passports. I'm a very easy going person, but the staff drove me bonkers! Don't try to reason with them - it won't work, just find another hostel. It wasn't just my group that had problems, a group of students from Munich had similar trouble with the rip-off merchants that are Alibi hostels. The rooms were dirty and the bathrooms were shabby. There was only one shower, and the advertised bike rental service was only one bike. This may not apply to the central hostel, as we couldn't stay there, but the complaints about the staff apply to both. " | Hannah
