If the sun is shining, then everywhere you look you will see people riding around on these uniquely-painted bikes. Ljubljana Bike, or Ljubljansko Kolo, is a city-run scheme with the aim of making it possible and easy for everyone to just hop on a bike and go where they want. The prices are ridiculously cheap, starting at around 100SIT per hour - that's about 30 English pence! They can be picked up from any one of eight different points around the city centre. These points are: The Tir Bar (at the main train station), Slovenian Tourist Information Centre, Kavarna Plocnik open-air cafe (in Presernov trg), the ice-cream stand on Nazorjeva Ulica, Lido Bar (in Mali trg), Le Petit Cafe (in trg francoske revolucije), Cezar Bar (at Bavarski Dvor), or the Tramvaj Pizza Outlet (in the trg mladinskih delovnih brigad square.)
