Travellers with a taste for classical music will find some intriguing things on the menu this year. Ljubljana is celebrating the centenary of the Slovenian Philharmonic, and a special jubilee programme has been prepared.
The celebrations kicked off on Sunday 13th January with a gala concert at the Philharmonic Hall. Prior to the performance, Culture Minister Maryan Kozina unveiled a bust of Marjan Kozina, outstanding Slovenian composer and erstwhile director of the Philharmonic.... |
