Ljubljana Contemporary Art Museum Opens

Ljubljana has recently opened a striking new building, home to the Museum of Contemporary Art (MSUM) in the Metelkova Museum Quarter. Partnered with the already well established Museum of Modern Art (MG), the MSUM presents some of the most thought-provoking art from the region. Slovenian art, as well as art from the Balkans and Eastern Europe is the focus of these museums.

The Museum of Contemporary Art is devoted to works from the 1960s to present, with two exhibitions currently on, showcasing its national collection of over 2000 pieces. For more information on the upcoming and current exhibitions check our events page or head directly to the museum's website for full details.
