Biennial of Graphic Arts Kicks Off
Ljubljana's International Centre of Graphic Arts (MGLC) is currently hosting the 29th Biennial of Graphic Arts. The event kicked of on the 23rd of September with artists such as Ant Farm, Oreet Ashery, Bababa International, Robert Barry, Nina Beier & Marie Lund, Jerzy Beres, Karmelo Bermejo, Anna Berndtson, Conny Blom, Janos Borsos, and many more on display.
This year's Biennial of Graphic Arts presents exhibitions of contemporary art following four different themes: violence, emptiness, generosity, and the search for the sacred and ritualistic. Along with shows at the MGLC, the Museum of Modern Art, Jakopic Galleyr, Gallery of Cankarjev dom, and other will display artworks.
The Biennal will take place until 20 November 2011.
