Ljubljana Festival Among Best in World
British music magazine Songlines has listed Ljubljana’s Druga Godba world music festival as amongst the top 25 across the world. As one of the oldest music festivals in the area, Druga Godba has consistently invited world-class performers to its stages including the likes of Mariza (Lisbon) and Tanya Tagaq (Nunavut, Canada) in last year’s edition.
Songlines magazine is a respected world music magazine which also awards the prestigious Songlines Music Awards for outstanding talent in world music every year.
This year the Druga Godba festival will take place from 7 to 14 May though full details of the programme are yet to be announced.
