Tcheka in concert

Ljubljana gets a rare treat with this world music concert at Cankarjev Dom. Cape Verde guitarist and singer Tcheka (real name, Manuel Lopes Andrade) is a master of batuque - a traditional Cape Verdean music style performed primarily with various percussion instruments. Tcheka interprets batuque through his guitar arrangements. His two albums and impressive stage performances have propelled him to the forefront of contemporary African music. Tickets are Ä7-16 depending on seating. Show starts in Linhart Hall at 20:15.
