Tivoli Park

Beautiful place, very alive and well arranged! Pleasantly cold on summer hit, romantic in winter snow and always worth to visit! Our family spent so many hours and days there and on Cankarjev vrh above! We alway enjoy so much in open Exhibitions, concerts, other public events, fantastic children playground ... or just walks in the shade of ancient trees! It's not so appropriate for night visit - because of spoilet people - not because the Park itself! In a word - highly recommended for day visits! Enjoy the Ljubljana lungs! I look forward to visiting it with my daughters and my grandchild! Do not miss it while you stay in Ljubljana!

Great place with great art and English descriptions of the exhibitions (and even website)!

Metelkova Mesto

Best place to spend the evening in Ljubljana (well maybe KMS). I recommend Jalla Jalla with the Metelcova complex, or even just a nice little beer/hooka session at Celica.

Cankarjev Dom

Well worth seeing, this is one of the cultural hearts of Ljubljana!

Ljubljana Castle

Well, this is a caricature of a castle - sitting prettily on a hill overlooking the whole town. Bit of a slog of a walk getting up there though!

Botanical Gardens

A fairly small but beautiful garden, with a variety of plantlife. Recommended in the summer.

Afrikana

It was an interesting shop. I don't know if it's still there, but I found it worth a visit.

Zale Cemetery

Plecnik was a genius. Simple.

Zale Cemetery

Unlike any cemetery I've ever been in. Zale is beautiful thanks to Plecnik's master touch. Difficult to describe, just see it for yourself. Strongly recommended...

Metelkova Mesto

Surprisingly not dodgy, Metelkova has a really laidback, comfortable atmosphere. Sure, it's a non-stop party/hangover with people getting obscenely drunk (etc.), but the vibe stays friendly. Definitely, worth checking out. We met some really cool people.

Trnovo Bridge

Along with Triple Bridge and the Dragon bridge, this is considered the city's third great bridge. Being a bit outside of the center, most tourists don't see it, but you should seek it out...

Museum of Modern Art

The Modern Art Museum has been closed for renovation as of March 4, 2007 and is scheduled to reopen 'sometime next year.'
